The holes you cut with this template will fit these boxes, mounting brackets, and cut-in rings from ALL makers and will always cover with standard sized plates.

You can use it to cut holes in all kinds of different materials including; Drywall, paneling, wood, plywood, OSB, SIPs, ceiling tiles, ceramic tiles, and more. It can be used for new construction, remodeling, renovation, and retrofit projects.
It protects paint, texturing, and finished surfaces from being damaged because it keeps the saw from rubbing against the surface of the material while cutting the hole.
It has built-in bubble levels for accurate alignment so that your holes are never crooked. It has two levels so that you can align it to cut both vertical and horizontal holes. And with it you don't have to trace the hole's outline onto the material before cutting the hole.
It holds securely in place where you want to cut the hole with two screws. The screws insert into the material into what will become the cutout plug.
When cutting holes with this template you have to make two cuts to completely cut the hole. The second cut to finish the hole is very short (about 3/4") and, depending upon the material you're cutting, can be accomplished either with or without using the template.
This template works with both our SAWzBASE and ADAPTA-BASE Attachments. In essence, these attachments are router bases for spiral saws and rotary tools. They work together with both the saw and template so that the template will guide the saw while cutting, keep the saw properly oriented to cut squarely into the material, and to make the saw totally stable and easy to control while
