CUTzOUT ADAPTA-BASE Universal Router Base Attachment

The ADAPTA-BASE is THE attachment for spiral saws and rotary tools that
you've always needed! It makes spiral saws and rotary tools into mini-routers!
With it you can rout, edge, cut, carve, guide, and even use router guide
bushings, all with total stability and complete control.

It works with all the installation templates. It allows the saws to work correctly
with and be guided by the templates. With it you can use any and all of the
following spiral saws and rotary tools with the installation templates.

Please note: The Adapta-BASE attaches onto the guide foot that comes in the 565 Multipurpose Cutting Kit for these tools. You will need this foot in
order to use the Adapta-BASE.

The Adapta-BASE attaches onto the guide foot that comes with spiral saws
and rotary tools. Because it is wider and longer than the provided guide foot,
it makes the saw totally stable and easier to control while cutting. It also
keeps the saw perfectly oriented to ensure that you cut squarely through
the material. And it is see-thru to make operation easier.

The Adapta-BASE is the first attachment for
spiral saws and rotary tools that uses removable
and interchangeable router template bushings!
These are the same bushings that are used for
full-sized routers. The Adapta-BASE uses these
bushings so that you can now use spiral saws
and rotary tools with templates. This includes
not only the installation templates but all kinds
of other templates!

                                                 When the base is attached to a saw, the saw
                                                 blade is centered in the guide bushing. The
                                                 part of the bushing that extends below the base
                                                 is called a collar. It is this collar that enables the
                                                 saw to be guided by the templates patterns without
                                                 the blade touching the template.

There are numerous router template bushings available with collars of
different diameters and lengths. The Adapta-BASE is compatible with router
bushings with different sized collars that will install into a 1 3/16" center hole.

And because you can use different router guide bushings, the Adapta-BASE
allows you to use many different styles and sizes of router bits. With the
Adapta-BASE you can now use spiral saws and rotary tools with all kinds of
router templates that are readily available for a variety of applications.

                                                 By removing the bushing you can also use the
                                                 base with router bits that have guide bearings.
                                                 These types of bits are often used with templates
                                                 for door hinge installation. They are also
                                                 commonly used for edging materials, like wood
                                                 and laminates.

                                                 And with the bushing removed the base is ready
                                                 for freehand cutting! The saw is still totally stable
                                                 while cutting, perfectly oriented, and easy to control.
                                                 The base's large, flat, and smooth undersurface
                                                 lets you easily glide over uneven surfaces like
                                                 texturing. It protects and allows you to safely cut
                                                 on finished surfaces.
